“We really don’t expect that fire to do anything,” Yellowstone Spokesman Al Nash told the Jackson Hole News & Guide. It has been a slow summer for forest fires in Yellowstone National Park: the Doane Fire may have peaked at a quarter-acre in size. Two previous fires failed to expand more than a half acre.
