If you're in Yellowstone National Park Monday, you may want to adjust your travel plans accordingly: Vice President Joe Biden will be visiting the Madison Junior Ranger Station to speak and survey Recovery Act projects in the Park. Yes, there might be a small caravan tying up the road between West and Madison Junction that morning.
Or so we assume; West Yellowstone is the most logical place for Biden to land. He'll be speaking Monday at 11:45 a.m., where he'll be joined by National Park Service Director Jonathan Jarvis and (we assume) a host of dignitaries, although we're told the audience will be limited to park workers. (In other words, don't drop by and assume you'll be allowed to listen.) Yellowstone has been the recipient of much in the way of federal Recovery Act funding, including the rebuilding of the Grand Loop Road running through the Gibbon Canyon.Keep up with what's happening in Yellowstone by signing up for the free weekly Yellowstone Insider newsletter.
