All roads in Yellowstone National Park are now open, as crews cleared out the Dunraven Pass and opened the Tower Junction/Canyon Village section of road at 8 a.m. today.

Saying that hazing bison back into Yellowstone National Park via helicopter is better than the alternative -- having the state of Montana kill them -- a federal judge denied a request to halt the practice, at least on a temporary basis.

With sections of Yellowstone National Park just opening or still closed because of heavy snowpack in May, it's no surprise visitation has been down this year when compared to the record year of 2010.
